"Where's the Wreath?" Prizes

The second annual “Where’s the Wreath?” contest will begin on Thursday, October 15th, and run through Monday, October 26th. As explained in yesterday’s blog, in order to participate you need to announce this contest on your blog, and send me a comment telling me that you’ve done so. You only have two days before the start of the contest, so get those posts written!

Starting on the 15th, I will post one picture each day that will have this wreath

hidden somewhere in the picture. Your task is to locate that wreath and be one of the first three people to send me an e-mail at writearby@gmail.com telling me where the wreath is located in the picture. I will award three points to the first person who correctly identifies the location of the wreath in each day's photo, two points to the second person who correctly identifies the location of the wreath, and one point to the third person who correctly identifies the location of the wreath. All other e-mails will be awarded mocking ridicule. I will use the time/date stamp on the e-mails to determine who answered first, second, third, etc.

The contest will run for ten days, except for Sundays. You will playing for prizes.  The first place winner receives his or her choice of either of these two necklace and earring sets.  The necklaces are approximately 13” long. The earrings are 2 ½” to 3” long.

The second place winner receives his or her choice of one of these bracelets:

The third place winner will receive a $5 gift card to a bookstore.

Get your posts written!  Get your spectrascopes perched on your nose!  Get ready to ask yourself one question, "Where's the Wreath?"

Very nice Boss!! They're very cute!!

Looking forward to the contest.

I believe the correct description yesterday was that the wreath was on your arse (as my Scottish ancestors would say)

Have a great day!

#1-Am I allowed to play?

#2-Even if I'm not, which would be fine, I've posted about the contest on my blog.

#3-The Boss did an excellent job on the jewelry. I'm loving that silver/circle necklace earring combo.

Goodness, Kellie, why wouldn't you be allowed to play? Play on!

Very nice gifts. And there's always something special about hand made. Your wife is talented and generous.

OK, so I have the wreath on my blog. Not in a post. Because having it in a post would require me to write about it, and I'm all written out for the day. However, I have the wreath posted in a very prominent place on my blog. It is, in fact, in the place where I ordinarily have my business logo and link. So your little contest must be pretty important. And I better win one of those dang necklace sets!! (The Boss is very talented, by the way!)

Okay - I posted a blog - albeit a very short one and have the wreath in a side bar. Now I just have to remember to check everyday.
