HUDDLLGRPJVG

“Dad, look! Dad, look! I spelled a word!” the Captain insisted after she finished rearranging the magnets on the refrigerator.

I strolled over to where she was standing to take a look.

“H-U-D-D-L-L-G-R-P-J-V-G…” she read, pointing to each letter.

She looked up at me smiled. That spells, “Quiet!”

It's cool that she recognizes that letters make words! I'm not quite there yet w/Red.

Hey! Maybe it DOES say "quiet" in another language??

Sounds like she is ready to start homeschooling with her daddy.

Too cute!

I was thinking you needn't worry about search engines finding this post. ;)

At least she didn't ask YOU what it spelled. We have the same letters, and my youngest likes the game of lining up 5 consonants in random order and then asking, "Mommy, what does this spell?"

Awe, so cute! At least it didn't say unyun (onion) LOL!

I just read this fact which somehow seems related: "Listen" and "Silent" use the same letters.

So, do you keep the main piece of that annoying toy up high where no child can reach it like we do? LOL!
