So, we were sitting in the van, waiting for General Mayhem to come out of Wal*mart, when the Major asked me a question.
“Dad, who is fastest?”
“Fastest at what?”
“I am fast. General Mayhem is faster. You are the fastest!”
“I won’t be for long,” I replied. “Pretty soon the General will be faster than me.”
“How come?”
“Because he is 13, I am 44, and…”
“You’re fat?” he interjected.
How can you not love these kids?

I was told to make myself a turtle towel since it 'fit' my speed. That was from Borg. He'll be eating my dust Monday at running club.
Ah honesty. Does one truly have to love it? I did tell Blondie the other day that she could still practice honesty, but she needs to learn a little tact and discretion. She responded later by asking if she could have my sweater when I grow out of it.
My kids are always telling me what a fat bum I have, especially Trey. I'm trying to retrain him not to insult his future wife. lol
