The famous words of General MacArthur when he left the Philippines were, “I shall return.”
He followed that sentence with, “So that’s what Gary Larson meant!”
Apparently, Gary Larson has become the measuring stick by which we measure the depth of my son’s memory and the breadth of his common knowledge. It’s a bit frightening, really.
I’m just glad he’s learning something.

Peace and Laughter,

I love the Far Side!
As Red was leaving for school, he turned around at the door and said "I'll be baaaack."
My favorite ever: the man who opens his 'fridge to find a banner saying "condiment dance tonight" and says to the bottles in the 'fridge, "I'll take this thank you, and knock off that music!" I don't know how you can get this in a lesson but I have tried to teach my four year old the word condiment in preparation for my showing her this cartoon one day.
I'd say Far Side, Dilbert, and Steven Wright should be required reading for all school age kids and adults of any age.
You have been given a blog award. Enjoy !
